Across 265 wind turbines and dozens of box-type substations, technicians carried bulky key rings—often 30+ mechanical keys—leading to lost keys, wrong-lock errors and zero audit trail. Unsecured turbine doors also exposed high-voltage cabinets to unauthorized tampering and safety breaches.

Solution

Vanma deployed 265 smart padlocks (210 × L35, 55 × L50) on turbine-tower doors and substation gates, plus 10 Bluetooth keys and S7.0 management software.

Wind-solar plants secure critical power corridors. Every turbine nacelle and substation houses high-voltage switchgear where a single mis-operation can trigger arc-flash injuries or grid outages. Zhanhua’s 265 turbines span 50 km²; mechanical locks offered no real-time visibility and no scalable permission model. Vanma’s passive-electronic ecosystem was chosen to digitize, centralize and simplify lock control across the entire base.
